Coming of Age

These drawings document a visual thought process and a coming of age. These are my first art works, created as I was growing up in Buenos Aires, Argentina, during tumultuous times. The scenes are fictional and yet they capture what I felt under my skin as I read in the gaze of men and women their expectations, fulled by my own imagination and mass media depictions of docile, quiet womanhood.
